What changed, and why
- 01Clear ownership and outcomesNames the responsible role and measures the two groups separately.
- 02A consistent definitionCounts one or more repeat purchases per month, using fixed customer groups.
- 03Dates with different purposesThe first six-month review checks tracking and progress. The annual evaluation checks the outcome.
Success measures
For each group: monthly repeat purchasers ÷ customers in the original group × 100. Report change from its validated baseline in percentage points.
Follow-up completion = completed follow-ups ÷ planned follow-ups × 100. This supports retention but does not replace the outcome measure. No follow-up target has been assumed.
The monthly retention percentage can include different repeat purchasers each month; it does not prove the same customers purchased in every month.
Manager confirmation
Next step: validate baselines and resources, agree on the calendar-month convention, then communicate the objective and follow-up plan.
Recording your review does not assign or finalize an objective on your behalf. Any objective edit requires a new confirmation.
